Minor Peewee Select, 2018-2019, RS (Markham Waxers)

Written by Amy Provvisionato Fellin I have a confession to make.  I am a born and bred Canadian girl – the product of two hard working Irish and Italian immigrant families who came to this wonderful country with the dream of a better life.  I love maple syrup, skating, white winters and I say “eh” regularly.  But, one Canadian gene seemed to have missed me. Submitted by Mark Fellin It is with great sadness and regret that our team announces of the passing of Ari Sinisalo on January 2, 2019. Ari was the father of our Minor Peewee Select player Luke. He was also the beloved husband of our Assistant Trainer Cheng-Fong Wang and father to Kaitlyn.  Ari was a wonderful person and huge fan of our team. Submitted by Amy Provvisionato Fellin On September 16, 2018, the Markham Waxers Minor Peewee Rostered Select Team and families gathered together to participate in the Markham-Unionville Terry Fox Run.   The run has become a wonderful tradition for the Select Team and marks our unofficial beginning of hockey season.
