Kruger Products will again award $25,000 to five minor hockey associations (one per geographical region) to help make the game more accessible and inclusive. Each regional recipient will also be eligible for an additional $75,000 Grand Prize, decided by a public vote in April.

Players know first-hand the time commitment needed to succeed on the ice with their hockey teams and in the classroom with their grades. With the Grade 12 school year approaching the halfway mark and bright academic futures ahead, the hard work put forth by graduating students deserves to be highlighted.

The Markham Waxers U14 select team finished second at the 59th Annual Hespler Olympics Tournament. Battling back in the semi-finals to win the game with four seconds on the clock they advanced to the championship game!

The Markham Waxers 2014 Select team skated off the ice with gold claiming the championship at the Seaside Tournament after an impressive run defined by skill, teamwork, and perseverance.
