Five teams will compete for the OHF U18 title, including the host team Markham Waxers, plus qualifying representatives from four prestigious hockey associations across the province: Alliance Hockey, GTHL, Canada (GTHL), Northern Ontario Hockey League (NOHL), and the Ontario Minor Hockey League (OMHA).
The OHF Championship weekend will kick off Friday, April 22, at 10am, with a round robin format before culminating with the OHF Championship game Sunday April 24 at 4pm.
Markham Centennial Community Centre will welcome fans to the first sizable live event in two years, bringing some long-awaited excitement and economic lift to the local community. Centennial arena has seating capacity for some 5,000 spectators and is sure to serve as an ideal venue for the first Provincial championship since 2019.
