The Markham Waxers Atom Select team had the honour of participating in a
wonderful opportunity this year thanks to the inspiration of one of our
sponsors – Jade Consulting.
On Sunday, September 17 the team participated in the 2017 Terry Fox Run! The goal was to work together as a team to help other people, while at the same time participate in an event that inspired healthy living for our kids.
All players were asked to raise as much money as they could and we are very proud to announce that we surpassed our original team goal of $1000 and ended up raising over $3000! A big congratulations to all of the players and families who worked so hard to support Terry Fox’s vision of “a world without cancer”.
