Markham Waxers U18 AA Hockey Team Wins Back-to-Back York Simcoe League Championships!** 🏆
The Markham Waxers U18AA hockey team captured the 'first jewel of the post-season triple crown'  by defeating the TNT Tornados 5-2 to win the YSMHL Championship at Centennial Arena on Thursday.

With an impressive 19 wins in 27 regular season games, the team Coached by Kim Rasmussen, finished atop the season standing for the third consecutive year.  In the post-season qualifiers, they remained undefeated through 12 games before ultimately triumphing 2 games to 1 in the YSMHL final series.

The Waxers will continue their quest for the post-season triple crown at the OMHA Championships in Oakville from March 29-31.  Following the OMHAs, the Waxers will proudly host the 2024 OHF U18AA Championships at Centennial Arena from April 19-21.  With an overall record of 53 wins, 13 losses and 12 ties, the Waxers have consistently been among the U18AA top 10 ranked teams in the province.  The hometown Waxers are hoping for tremendous community support during the 3-day season finale and provincial championships!
