Novice AA Team Win Thanksgiving Tournament

The Markham Waxers Novice AA Team win the Thanksgiving Tournament in Whitby on October 8th.  

The Team played 4 round robin games and finished 2nd in the standings with their only round robin loss to the hosting team Whitby Wildcats. 

Their Semi-Final game versus Goulding Park Rangers was a close and exciting one. The Team showed a lot of energy and grit coming out on top, 5-4 winners.

They went on the Championship Game with a rematch versus Whitby. Although the Team went down early 1-0 on a penalty shot, they did not show any signs of giving up. The Team rallied to score 5 straight goals and went on to win the Championship 6-3!.

Way to go Waxers Novice AA!!
