The Hockey Canada Foundation Assist Fund is back, giving young Canadians and their families an assist with registration fees. There was an incredible response to the launch of the Assist Fund in 2020, and we are happy that we received a portion of the funding that ultimately gave 1,032 kids an assist. The fund has over $1 million in funding to give kids the opportunity to play hockey this year and we can’t wait to start the season.
It will provide up to $500 per player in registration fee subsidies to approved applicants registered with a sanctioned Hockey Canada association.
Financial eligibility for the Assist Fund is based on the Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) guidelines from Statistics Canada, which are an integral part of our application process. CLICK HERE for more information and to apply.
