weekend your Markham Waxers U10 select team clinched the championship at the
March to Halton Hills Thunder tournament.
“
Let’s go
Waxers!” continues to echo through each of the ice surfaces we played on way to
a 5 and 0 championship victory.
With goalie, Daniel T, sitting on the bench and 13 seconds left in regulation time of the final game Carson C tied it up for the good guys. Halfway into the 4-on-4 overtime period with our compete level well into the red zone, Jacob G found the back of the Halton Hills Thunder net and that’s all she wrote.
Congratulations to the team, parents, and everyone for making this happen. It was truly a special experience and will always be remembered.
