Updated health and safety measures for changerooms in arenas

To help stop the spread of COVID-19, the City of Markham has made additional health and safety measures for changerooms and in arenas. The measures are in effect starting at 12:01 am on Monday, December 20, 2021.

The City of Markham continues to follow advice from public health officials at the regional, provincial and federal levels. The health and safety of our visitors, community and our staff remains our number one priority as we navigate the pandemic, together.

  • NEW! Players must come dressed to play.

  • NEW! Changerooms are only available to tie skates and put on goalie equipment. The doors will be propped open. Only 1 parent/guardian per participant can accompany them to tie skates.

  • NEW! Groups and teams can only enter the facility 10 minutes prior to the start of their permit.
All public health guidelines and COVID-19 health and safety precautions previously in place remain in effect.
