The Ontario Hockey Federation and its seven member partners, including the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), have issued a statement regarding spring tryouts for the 2020-21 season.
The health and safety of all participants in the sport is of the utmost importance to the OHF and its member partners. As such, tryouts for the 2020-21 season will not be conducted this Spring. The last weekend of the season is a celebration. There are no practices and all teams get an hour and a half to play their games in an NHL-like environment: players are announced, O Canada is sung, medals are awarded at games end, and players enjoy a pizza party after the game.
