Atom, 2017-2018, HL (Markham Waxers)

On Saturday, December 2 there was a “Waxers Night Out” to watch Markham’s own Canadian Women’s Hockey League (CWHL) team – the Markham Thunder!  The Thunder played a hard-fought game against Les Canadiennes Montreal and the kids were thrilled to see such high calibre hockey right in our own backyards at the Thornhill Community Centre.

Welcome to the 2017-2018 Hockey Season!The 2017-2018 season will begin September 16th with evaluations. All players must attend evaluations the weekends of September 16th, 23rd, and 30th. 

Waxers RS Teams Receive Permission to Play in the NYHL We are very excited to announce that the OMHA has granted the Waxers RS teams permission to participate in the North York Hockey League, which provides teams with tiered divisions, structured regular and playoff seasons, a championship series, and an All-Star game. RS Tryouts RS tryouts begin the week of May 1st and are open to all registered house league players.
