The Markham Waxers Select program provides added development opportunities for house league players interested in upgrading their skills and participating in a more competitive environment. The program is eligible to Markham residents registered in the MMHA house league program. Body checking is prohibited in select games.

Minor Novice Select
The Tyke Minor Development team (formerly known as Tyke A or Super 7) is a full-season development program for players who are 7 year old. These players do not participate in house league. Minor Atom through Midget
The Select program for players ages 8 and older is a Rostered Select (RS) program. Players participate in both house league and on the RS team. In additional to their weekly house league practice and game, RS players practice with their team, play in up to three exhibition games per month, and enter up to three tournaments per season.
