Bantam AA Success in Buckeye Classic
Playing American teams from Alabama, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Ohio, the Bantam AA team returned to Canada with the Buckeye Classic Tournament trophy!

The team and parents departed early on November 29th from Markham Village. Travelling to Columbus, Ohio on a team bus gave everyone on board a chance to connect on a casual level. The first night in Columbus was spent attending a Columbus Bluejackets game against the Minnesota Wild.

The following day the Waxers played against an American team and came home with a 7-0 win. Saturday was another great day with 2 wins, 10-2 and 2-0, followed with a team lunch. The last day was an early one for the team and coaches, but they played with heart and brought home the cup with a 3-2 win.

Tough games, a little on-ice excitement with State Troopers, but an overall great few days together as a team. Definitely a positive feeling for the long bus ride home to Markham!
