Markham Waxers

On Sunday, October 27, before the current U18 AAA team's game against the Quinte Red Devils, the 2023-2024 U18 AAA OHF Championship team received their championship rings and unveiled their championship banner during an on-ice ceremony at the Markham Village Community Centre.

Congratulations to the Waxers U16 BB1 team for their outstanding performance at the Niagara Falls, NY, Gene Harrington Niagara Showdown Tournament! The team emerged as the division winners after a challenging weekend against teams from Meadowvale, New Hamburg, and Ajax-Pickering, securing a spot in the championship game with a 2-1-0 record.

The Waxers U11 A team traveled to Cleveland, Ohio, home of the Rock and Roll Hall of fame to take part in the annual Rock & Roll Cup over the weekend of October 25-27 and they didn't come home empty handed.

The Markham Waxers U16AA team had been counting down the days to their trip to the Irish South Bend tournament at the hallowed grounds of Notre Dame University. A 7-hour drive from Markham to Indiana couldn't dampen their excitement, as the anticipation of playing at such a prestigious venue was palpable.

Registration is now open for the U7, U8, U9 Blended Development Clinic. This clinic will run on Tuesdays at Markham Centennial Arena from 5:00pm-6:00pm. The clinic begins on Tuesday October 8th and will run until the last weekend in March 2024. The cost of the clinic is $450.00.  Register now by clicking here.
