AA, A, BB, MD Boundaries (Markham Waxers)

The boundaries of the Markham Waxers Hockey Club (AA, A, BB, and MD) is based on the OMHA Boundary Committee document: 
North to the Nineteenth Avenue. East to the York and Durham Town Line. On the west side to Highway 404 south to Highway 7, West to Yonge Street. Steeles Avenue is the most southern boundary.

You must live within the grey shaded area below to play for a Markham Waxers AA, A, BB, and MD team. (For exceptions, see Right of Choice information below the map.)

 

Right of Choice

Within the Markham Waxers boundaries lies a Right of Choice (ROC) area that pertain to AA, A, BB, and MD hockey. If you live between 19th Ave on the north, Elgin Mills Road on the south, Highway 404 on the west, and York-Durham Line on the east you are in the Markham/Stouffville Right of Choice Area. As such, you have the choice to declare either the Markham Waxers or Whitchurch Stouffville Minor Hockey Association as your home centre. This must be done through registration. A completed OMHA Right of Choice form must be uploaded to the player's HCR profile prior to attending evaluations for residency compliant programming.

House League

Players can play house league in any centre you chose. If it is not your home center, contact the centre with which you would like to register and ask them to request a share of your HCR profile so you can register with them.
