Peewee AE White Honour Canadian Service Members
To honour Remembrance Day this year, the Markham Waxers PeeWee AE White team wanted to wear poppy stickers on their helmets.  Unfortunately, the traditional poppy stickers supplied by the local legion are not certified as safe for helmet use.  However, the team found out that Canadian NHL teams make stickers by themselves with the approval of the Canadian Legion to reproduce the registered Poppy trademark.

The team reached out to Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment and Greg Schell, Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Development, was very willing to help the team out.  He reached out to their poppy sticker source and Rob Baker of PakMark Limited sent the team a set of helmet stickers.

The team was very grateful for the help they received so that they could honour Canadian Service Members on Remembrance Day.
