Congratulations to the Markham Waxers U14 AA team who are the 2021-2022 York Simcoe Champions!
The Waxers were victorious against the Aurora Tigers 3-1 in the
championship game in Aurora on March 31. The Waxers fell behind in
the first period 1-0, but scored twice 15 seconds apart in the second period to
take the lead 2-1. Another goal scored in the third period secured the
win for the Waxers.
We are proud of all the boys. They are a great group of young men. The team worked hard during the regular season with a record of 13-2-6 and finished the season as York Simcoe Champs!
