 Re:  Minor Hockey Tournaments for the 2020-2021 Season

Given the current landscape the Province is facing and the uncertainty surrounding Covid-19 (Coronavirus) the Ontario Hockey Federation has decided to put a stop to any further planning of minor hockey tournaments for the 2020-2021 season in the interim.

For tournament operators and attendees, this information means;

  • That all tournaments who have been provided sanctioning from Members to operate in the 2020-2021 season, has been put on hold until further notice;
  • That tournaments can no longer accept registration or payment for a tournament that was sanctioned for the 2020-2021 season;
  • No OHF Member Teams may register for tournaments in the interim inside or outside the OHF jurisdiction; and
  • That any tournament who has already collected accepted registration or collected payment will need to notify teams and return payment.

At the heart of this decision is the health and well being of all of our membership and their extended communities. As we are evolving with the times and evolution of this virus in the Province, more information will follow as it becomes available.
