Hockey Options
Submitted By Deb Larsen on Thursday, February 13, 2020
Have questions about the options to play hockey available to your six to ten year old child? Want to learn more about the new Hockey Canada player pathways for Under-9/U9 (Novice) and Under-10/U10 (Atom) players? Have questions about the LOR?

Join us as we discuss these issues on Thursday, March 26, in the upstairs lounge at Markham Village Community Centre at 7:00 pm.

We will discuss:

  • the options available to young players and the differences between each of the competitive hockey options: House League, Rostered Select, and Rep
  • the programming changes in the Under-9/U9 (Novice) and Under-10/U10 (Atom) divisions across the different categories next year
  • the Lake Ontario Region (LOR) rules surrounding players entering into their Minor Atom year in A, AA, and AAA.
