8th Annual Equipment Swap Success!
The Waxers held our 8th annual equipment swap on Saturday, August 18th. It was a warm day outside and there were lots of hot deals inside. We sold 491 pieces of gently-used hockey equipment raising $2,485 for our Yes, You Can Play program. New hockey players were outfitted for under $40.

We could not have done it without our crew of awesome volunteers. And they were awesome. We set up in record time, helped a record number of shoppers (over 500!), and cleaned up in record time. What a team! Special thanks to our adult volunteers who were able to guide families who are brand new to hockey through the process of purchasing equipment for their budding hockey stars.
