Bantam AA Waxers Undefeated in Ajax Break the Ice Tournament
On the weekend of Sept. 8-10, the Markham Waxers Bantam AA won the Ajax Break The Ice Tournament, going undefeated over six games.  Even more interesting—they did not concede a goal the entire tournament!!

The team were finalists in last year’s edition but were beaten up pretty bad in the final, so this was a bit of redemption.

Our two goaltenders Allesandro Pinchera and Sam Ivanov traded shutouts back and forth over three games each over the three days. Leading scorer was Jonathan DiLucia with 8 of the team’s 18 goals.

Kudos to the whole team as this was a true team victory.
