Waxers Raise Awareness
Submitted By Deb Larsen on Tuesday, June 2, 2015
360°kids joined the Waxers at our Players’ Banquet on April 1st to raise awareness and promote their toque campaign. In partnership with Raising the Roof, 360°kids sells toques and socks to raise funds to help end youth homelessness nationally.
With every toque or sock sold in York Region, all proceeds are directed back to 360°kids in order for us to help children and youth in our local communities.

It was a great success, selling over 30 toques/socks, with many of the players and coaches coming over to our booth to learn more about what we do as an organization. 360°kids would like to thank George Schnarr and the Markham Waxers for their generosity and support!

360°kids has been helping families, children and youth in our communities for over 25 years.  Our primary focus is providing aid and support to at-risk and homeless youth.  It is estimated that on any given day there are over 300 homeless youth in York Region.

360°kids operates a variety of programs to give these kids the support they need to reach a state of safety and stability.  We inspire them to rebuild their lives and we help them to overcome the obstacles they face.  It is a complete 360° approach to assisting these kids and it has been successful in helping thousands of youth become healthy, stable adults who contribute to our communities.
