U9 Selects Take Silver at NTR Christmas Tournament

Congratulations to Markham Waxers U9 select team for their 2nd place finish in the NTR Christmas Tournament. This 3-on-3 tournament took place at NTR Richmond Hill on December 29 and was a true testament of the team’s character. Playing a total of six games in one day, the team not only battled hard throughout the tournament by winning the majority of their games, they also showed amazing sportsmanship towards the other teams.

The finals was an exciting back and forth battle with the score tied at 5 with about three minutes left in the game, but unfortunately, it finished with the Waxers on the wrong end of a 7-5 score.

The coaching staff is extremely proud of all the kids and the tremendous progress they have shown over the last year!

Congratulations Markham Waxers U9 Select Team!
