Canada Wins CCM Nations Cup Championship

Over the US Thanksgiving weekend, the U10 AAA Waxers took part in the exciting CCM Nations Cup hockey tournament in Detroit, Michigan. In true hockey fashion, Canada and the United States rivaled against each other in each of the games.

Representing Canada, our team played five games and helped accumulate points for our country. The boys showcased their skill, teamwork and dedication, playing exceptionally well and persevering against some difficult opponents, in each and every game they played.

The Waxers were able to rally together and cheer on their fellow allies in order to try and capture the Nations Cup for Canada during the final championship game, which went into an exciting shoot out to finish off the tournament. Team Canada won the U10 Nations Cup and our Waxer boys had the opportunity to run out onto the ice to receive their medals with the rest of their Canadian allies.

This was an amazing opportunity for our team to represent their country and will definitely be one of the most memorable experiences this season.
