Markham enters modified stage 2
The Government of Ontario has announced additional health measures for the Regional Municipality of York to help stop the spread of COVID-19. The measures are in effect starting on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 12:01 AM, for a minimum of 28 days. After consulting with public health officials, the City of Markham will allow all arena permits to continue under updated criteria.

  • NEW! No spectators allowed

  • NEW! Change rooms and locker rooms are not available, participants need to enter the building dressed as much as possible. Note: for children still using car seats, bulky clothing should not be worn beneath seat belts to ensure restraints are as close to the body as possible.

  • NEW! Each team follows and reviews updated Return to Play guidelines established and/or provided to your group that is most closely related to your sport. Learn more about Ontario’s Return to Play guidelines.
