To kick our #WaxersFightCovid19 donation drive into high gear, we are fortunate to have garnered some help from some player graduates of the Waxers: Steven Stamkos, Cody Hodgson, Cameron Gaunce, Brendan Gaunce and Jonathan Ang. The Ontario Hockey Federation and its seven member partners, including the Ontario Minor Hockey Association (OMHA), have issued a statement regarding spring tryouts for the 2020-21 season. The health and safety of all participants in the sport is of the utmost importance to the OHF and its member partners. As such, tryouts for the 2020-21 season will not be conducted this Spring. Instead the OHF will provide guidance on when the introduction of the 2020-21 season will begin, subject to the Hockey Canada Board of Directors’ future decision when to reinstate all Hockey Canada-sanctioned ...

The Ontario Minor Hockey Association’s foremost priority is the health and safety of our participants, volunteers and hockey families. We have been proactively working alongside Health Canada, Hockey Canada and local public health officials in regards to the Coronavirus (COVID-19). In light of recent events, the OMHA Officers have made the decision to immediately suspend all hockey activities.  We will be proactive in informing our constituents on all upcoming protocols and required actions as they become available.
