The 2025-2026 Team Officials Qualification Chart has now been finalized.  Please note the change to the minimum requirement for Head Coaches at U10 and U11 Representative, which is now Development 1 Trained. 

On Saturday January 18, the U15 AA Markham Waxers returned to Amica Unionville and participated in their Community Give Back initiative.  The team volunteered to lead and assist in the morning activities over three floors for the assisted and independent living residents.

The Waxers U16 BB2 team believes in giving back to the community by helping those less fortunate. For the 2024 holiday season, the team supported the 2024 Hockey with Heart Food and Toy Drive by gathering non-perishable foods and new toys for donation. The players were encouraged to participate by choosing the foods and toys that they wanted to donate. Hockey with Heart was delighted with the quantity of food and toys received from the team and gladly delivered our food donations to the Markham Food Bank and sent the toys to the Markham Fire Station for the Firefighter’s annual CTV Toy ...

The Markham Waxers Hockey organization is mourning the devasting loss of longtime coach and hockey development instructor Scott Badali. Scott bravely fought a battle with melanoma, but passed away on December 14, 2024, one month before his 40th birthday.  We are proud to say that Scott was a rostered Waxers coach and trainer for over eight years. Scott was a part of our Hockey Development leadership group since it began over ten years ago. He worked with players of all skill levels and at all age levels at both the house league and rep levels.
