Waxers U16BB2 has Heart!
The Waxers U16 BB2 team believes in giving back to the community by helping those less fortunate. For the 2024 holiday season, the team supported the 2024 Hockey with Heart Food and Toy Drive by gathering non-perishable foods and new toys for donation. The players were encouraged to participate by choosing the foods and toys that they wanted to donate. Hockey with Heart was delighted with the quantity of food and toys received from the team and gladly delivered our food donations to the Markham Food Bank and sent the toys to the Markham Fire Station for the Firefighter’s annual CTV Toy Drive.

A little kindness and compassion, especially over the holidays, can go a long way and the team hopes that they can continue to make a positive difference in our community.
