Minor Peewee AE Blue, 2018-2019, Rep (Markham Waxers)

On January 2, 2019 the Markham Waxers hockey community suffered the loss of one of our hockey parents – Ari Sinisalo.

Happy holidays from the Markham Waxers Minor Peewee AE Blue Team!

On Saturday, October 13th, we went out as a team to dinner and to the season opener of the Markham Thunder - which is our Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) home team in Markham. We had a delicious dinner at the Mandarin buffet, where my teammates and I enjoyed many plates of food and my favourite sushi. Everything there was delicious especially the desserts, and we got to eat as much cotton candy, ice cream and pastries that we wanted.

Coaches Note/Context: This year the Markham Waxers chose to create a second team in the Minor Peewee AE division.  As a result, the players on our team all come from a variety other teams/levels/organizations. We have players who played at the AE level last year, the Select level last year and who came to us from House League.  We have players who played for the Markham Waxers last year, who played for the Unionville Jets last year, and we even have one player who came to us from China!
