Brent has been on the bench with the Waxers House League organization since 2016. Starting as an assistant coach “just opening doors", Brent became a certified trainer in 2017 and then head coach in 2019. For the 2023 season Brent became trainer and co-manager for the U12 Rostered Select team, graduating to co-head coach of the U13 select team in 2024. He also was an on-ice volunteer for the U16 selects in 2024 on top of his continued house league coaching.
He is most proud of helping build the 2012 select team from a 0-12-0 record in 2023 to 11-13-1 in 2024.
As head coach for the 2025 U14 Rostered Select team, Brent looks forward to extending the success and growth of the 2012 select players by fostering a strong, resilient and fun team culture, while focusing on fulfilling our on-ice goals through communication and teamwork.
