Bio During his playing days, George was a talented goaltender who grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario. He advanced through Thunder Bay’s minor hockey ranks from Rep A to AAA level.

After having attended some prominent goaltending schools, George developed a desire from an early age to coach younger goaltenders.  He got an opportunity to do so at some of the same schools he’d once attended.

George then embarked on his junior hockey journey, playing Junior A with the Lebret Eagles of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League. Later he returned to his hometown to play Junior B along with a brief stint playing in the USHL for his hometown Thunder Bay Flyers. He finished his junior career with the Stouffville Spirit of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. Ultimately, his play helped him secure a spot on the University of Toronto Varsity Blues roster where he played for three seasons before retiring to focus on his university education.

After stepping away from the game for a few years, George returned to hockey as a volunteer house league coach. His passion for the sport and dedication to developing young talent led him to coach Select hockey for the last two seasons. George's journey from player to coach demonstrates his unwavering commitment and desire to give back to the community and to the game of hockey.
