A former NHL center, Grabovski played over a decade in the National Hockey League with the Montreal Canadiens, Toronto Maple Leafs, Washington Capitals, and New York Islanders. During his professional career, he established himself as a competitive and detail-driven forward, known for his tenacity, skill, and ability to impact the game.
Following his playing career, Grabovski transitioned into coaching and hockey operations at both the professional and international levels. He served as an assistant coach in the KHL and as general manager of the Belarusian National Team, gaining experience in player evaluation, team management, and high-performance program structure.
In Ontario, he has served as head coach of the Waxers U14 AAA and U15 AAA. As head coach of the Waxers U16 AAA team for the 2026/2027 season, Grabovski brings a high-tempo, development-first approach built on accountability, structure, and competitive habits. His philosophy emphasizes pace of play, hockey IQ, and individual responsibility within a team framework, preparing players for advancement within the high-performance pathway.
