	Bio	Shaz has been a head coach with the Markham Waxers AAA organization for the past three years. He has extensive knowledge and experience with student athletes, gained through his ten years of skills instruction, three years AAA assistant coach, and professional background. Shaz is passionate about developing athletes to their highest potential. His coaching philosophy focuses on team character building, accountability, and the knowledge and understanding of what it means to be a student athlete representing the Markham Waxers organization.

	Bio	With over 25 years of coaching experience across multiple sports, Pete Rooney has worked with athletes of all ages and backgrounds. His minor hockey career spans over two decades, including seven years at the AAA level. A two-time OMHA champion, he is known for his positive, disciplined, and team-first approach. Pete energizes his teams with high-tempo hockey and a strong commitment to player development. He tailors systems and training to match each player’s strengths, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to succeed. For Pete, fun is central to the game—he creates an environment where athletes compete hard, stay engaged, and grow their love for hockey. His coaching philosophy blends skill-building with enjoyment, helping players reach their full potential both on and off the ice.
