    Respect in Sport
    Bench staff must take Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders. One parent of every player in the OMHA must take Respect in Sport for Parents before their child can be rostered to play.

    Gender Identity & Expression
    Training module for team officials, to support trans-inclusive hockey in Ontario, Understanding Discrimination based on Gender Identity and Gender Expression Training. There are two modules which will educate team officials on this important topic. All team officials will require an HCR 3.0 account in order to register for and complete the two modules. Once completed, notification will be posted to the team officials’ member profile on the HCR.

    In the Find Your Clinic box at the top of the page, choose Ontario Minor Hockey Association from the drop down menu (Select an organization). Then choose your clinic category: Coach, Trainer, General, Specialty Skills, Official, or Instructor. Be sure you have the correct season chosen in the drop down box in the left menu column.

    Note: you must apply for a Police Vulnerable Sector Check in the region in which you reside. If you reside in Toronto, you must contact the Waxers Administrator for an application form.

    Reuqest a Field Evaluation
    In order to request a Field Evaluation, you must first meet all the required criteria as a "Trained" level Coach. Please complete the required form with all the correct information. All coaches must have completed their Making Ethical Decisions (MED) Training Module and Passed the MED Online Evaluation.

    Application for Conversion/Upgrade of Certification
    To convert certifications taken outside of the OMHA, bench staff must complete the conversion application and submit the form and fee at the OMHA office.
