Minor Novice Selects: Scarborough Champs!
Welcoming back a full roster from the holiday period, the Minor Novice Selects (U8) traveled south to participate in the 10th annual Don Montgomery Memorial Tournament in Scarborough.

After going a convincing 3-0 in the round robin and outscoring our opponents quite handily, we faced the host Scarborough Ice Raiders in the final game Sunday morning. It was a hard fought game but with perseverance and excellent team work our Markham Waxers held off the Ice Raiders for a 10-6 win and were crowned tournament champions.
