Midget Senior Selects are NYHL Champions!
The Midget Senior Selects capped off a great season and hockey career by winning the NYHL Championship!  

Squeaking into the playoffs it took 4 games and triple overtime to get past the Warren Park Eagles.

This set us up to play first place West Mall, who had only lost one game in the entire winter season. The finals saw the first game go to the Waxers 4-2. West Mall regrouped and dominated game 2 winning 6-0.  This set the stage for another final and deciding game. Knowing this was to be the last minor hockey game of their careers, the Waxers would not be denied and took the final 2-0 to win the Championship.
