U18 BB 1 YSMHL Champs!
Congratulations to the Waxers U18 BB 1 team as they repeat as YSMHL champs!

It’s a two-peat for the U18 BB 1 Waxers as they head to their second straight OMHA championship after winning their second York Simcoe Championship in a row.

After a hard fought, four-game semi-finals series with Barrie that cinched their spot in the OHMAs, the Waxers then competed to a two-game sweep of Newmarket in the finals.

With a short bench in both series, goals were scored by Mason (4), Bahen (3), Petro (2), Gupta (2), Fenwick (2), Thambiappah (2), Cropley, J. Maristanes, and Man. Strong goaltending was provided by N. Maristanes and J. Croft.

The boys look to continue their momentum March 28-30 at the OMHA Championships in Oakville.
