Waxers U18BB4 Strike Gold in Chilly Quebec City
Facing an 8 hour drive and -24 degree wind chills, the Waxers U18BB4 team weathered the storm to claim first place in the recent CHE hockey tournament this past weekend in historic Quebec City.

Going undefeated in the whole tournament, every game was far from a walk in the park.  They battled from the drop of the puck to the final buzzer.  With a goals against of 4 and goals for of 12, the team knocked off all their opponents from Quebec and Nova Scotia.

Finding themselves in the finals against Cole Harbour Wings from Nova Scotia, the Waxers were able to find the back of the net in the first.  The next two periods felt like an eternity.  The Waxers didn’t let off the gas pedal and continued to pressure.  However, the Waxers withstood the Wings relentless pursuit for that tying goal to secure gold with 1-0 shutout win.

Great way to end a fantastic weekend of friendships, memories, and amazing hockey.  Congratulations to the entire Waxers U18BB4 team
