Newmarket Early Bird Tournament Finalistss
The newly promoted U12 A2 team (formerly U11 BB) started our pre-season with a strong showing at the Newmarket Renegades Early Bird Start-Up Tournament in the U12A division. 

Going up against two teams in the YSMHL A division, the team managed to win against Stouffville and tied Upper York in the round robin.

Finishing 3rd overall, the team played Upper York Admirals in the semi-finals and managed a huge 4-3 win!

The finals against the undefeated Osgoode Richmond Romans (who’s record in the tournament including the semi-finals was 4-0, only allowing 1 goal against) proved to be more challenging and the team fell short, losing 5-0.

All players and coaches were extremely pleased with the effort and are super proud they made it to the finals in their first official tournament for the 2023-24 season.
