Congratulations to the Markham Waxers U12 A team who captured their second tournament championship of the season – The Bell Capital Cup!
The team battled hard all tournament earning their ticket to the finals at the Canadian Tire Centre in Kanata where they went on to defeat the Osgood Richmond Romans 2-1 with 40 seconds remaining
in an OT thriller.
“This team played our brand of hockey, stuck with it and were rewarded with another championship. Tourney wins like this don’t come around often so our players and their families will surely remember
this experience for years to come.” said head coach Bobby Berkenblit
