U14 MD Win Bradford Blue & Gold Classic

The Markham Waxers U14 MD Team are The Undefeated Gold Medal Champions of the 2022 Bradford Blue and Gold Classic! The Bradford Blue and Gold tournament featured top teams from both the OMHA and TCMHL.

After going 3-0 in round robin play and clinching the #1 seed in their bracket, the Waxers advanced directly to the finals with a big win over the Milton Winterhawks in Saturday's final round robin game.

In the championship game, the Waxers once again faced the #2 seed Milton Winterhawks. The Waxers came out determined to maintain their undefeated streak for the entire tournament and jumped out to a 1-0 lead after the 1st period. The back and forth battle continued with Milton throughout a spirited 2nd period. Our boys hustled hard with their discipline and skill, resulting in a dominating 3rd period and secured their gold medal with a final score of 4-0!

A huge thank you goes out to all our Waxers families and friends for their support this weekend and especially a big congratulations to all of the Markham Waxers U14MD team: Kish, Vinny, Jack, Kevy, Wanger, Brando, Anthony, Mats, Evan, Knighty, Ryden, Cambo, Yanger, Terry, Marcus, Pagsie, coach Ryno, coach Brad, coach Sal, coach Jeff, Trainer Jill, and team manager Richard!
