Waxers Mourn Passing of Paul Giallonardo
The Markham Waxers Hockey organization is mourning the devasting loss of longtime coach and hockey development instructor Paul Giallonardo. Paul bravely fought a battle with cancer, but passed away on Sunday night at the age of 39.

We are proud to say that Paul was a rostered Waxers coach for over 12 years. His team won the OMHA championship and he was selected as the Waxers AAA Coach of the Year three times. Paul was a part of our Hockey Development leadership group since it began over ten years ago. He worked with players of all skill levels and at all age levels. Paul was a great resource for other coaches and willingly assisted other Waxers teams.

We will miss him dearly. Our entire organization sends our thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
