Finalists at the Newmarket Early Bird Tournament
Our former U11 BB team that is the new U12 A2 started our pre-season with a strong showing at the Newmarket Renegades Early Bird Start-Up Tournament this past weekend in the U12A division. 

Going up against 2 teams in our YSMHL division, we managed to win against our competitors Stouffville and tied against Upper York in the round robin. Finishing 3rd overall, we played Upper York Admirals in the semi-finals and managed to put a huge 4-3 win! The finals against the undefeated Osgoode Richmond Romans (who’s record in the tournament including the semi-finals was 4-0, only allowing 1 goal against) proved to be more challenging and we fell short, losing 5-0.
All players and coaches were extremely pleased with the effort and are super proud we made it to the finals in our first official tournament for the 2023-24 season. GO WAXERS GO!
