Playoff Format: Game lengths in the playoffs (quarter finals, semi-finals and championship game) will be 15-15-20. In the event of a tie in a Playoff Game, there will be one sudden victory overtime period of 10 minutes, played 3 on 3.
** (If a penalty is called during the 3 on 3overtime, a player will be added to the non-offending team i.e. to make it4 on 3). At the first faceoff after the conclusion of the penalty, play will revert to 3 on 3.
If a second penalty is called against the same team during a 4 on 3 power play, another player from the non-offending team will be added to make it 5 on 3.
If still tied after the overtime periods, a shootout will be used to break the tie as follows:
- 3 players from each team will alternately shoot once on the opposing goalie - the team with the most goals wins. Home team will choose which team will shoot first.
- if still tied the shootout will be repeated 1 shooter at a time, on a sudden death basis, with new players (same shooter cannot shoot again, until all players have taken a shot) until there is a winner.
If a player is serving a penalty at the end of the overtime, they will be ineligible to participate in the shoot out.
