Waxers House League – 2016 March Break 3-on-3 Tournament Information - Peewee

Important note: Games could start up to 15 minutes earlier than scheduled times so please plan to arrive in plenty of time for your first game. Given the short game format and schedule, it is likely that families will plan to stay at the arena between games. There will be almost fifty 3-on-3 games taking place over the weekend so we ask for your cooperation in keeping on schedule by having your players dressed and ready to go for game times.

Peewee Game Format

The game format will be 3-on-3, plus goalies, full-ice, and 3x7 minute running time periods with shifting on-the-fly as usual. We have four Peewee teams in the tournament with 10 players on each team. Each team will play five round-robin games; with two games on Saturday March 12th and three games on Sunday March 13th.

Peewee Jersey Assignments

All players will be given a jersey that they must wear during the tournament and return after their last game on Sunday. This ensures all teammates are wearing the same colour and enables the tracking of players for scoring purposes.

Peewee Game Location

Peewee Saturday games will take place at Mount Joy Arena. Peewee Sunday games will take place at Markham Village Arena. For those who are not familiar with Markham Village arena, it is located on the southeast corner of Markham Road & Hwy 7 (here's a Google map link: https://goo.gl/maps/w1sn7xedQAs).
