Waxers House League –2016 March Break 3-on-3 Tournament Information - Gaunce

Important note: Games could start up to 15 minutes earlier than scheduled times so please plan to arrive in plenty of time for your first game. Given the short game format and schedule, it is likely that families will plan to stay at the arena between games. There will be almost fifty 3-on-3 games taking place over the weekend so we ask for your cooperation in keeping on schedule by having your players dressed and ready to go for game times.

Gaunce Team Assignments

Gaunce Game Format

The game format will be 3-on-3, plus goalies, half-ice, and 3x8 minute running time periods with 2-minute shifts on the buzzer. There are four Gaunce teams with a varying number of players participating on each team. Some players will be helping out a different team to even out the number of players per team and to maximize ice time for all players. Each team will play five round-robin games; three games on Saturday March 12th and two games on Sunday March 13th.

Gaunce Game Location

All Gaunce games will be played at Mount Joy Arena.

Gaunce Jersey Assignments

All players will wear their regular season jerseys for the tournament. If your player is helping out on a different team than their regular season team for the tournament, a temporary jersey matching their tournament team colour will be provided. Please plan to return the temporary jersey after your last game on Sunday.
