The
Markham Waxers are excited to announce they will be hosting next week's 2023 YSMHL U18 All-Star Showcase - Saturday, February 18th at Centennial
Arena.
The showcase will feature many of the best 2005 birthyear players from across
the region, in two North vs. South games. (including
several Markham resident players!)
6pm - 'A' Division South All Stars vs
North All Stars
8pm - AA' Division South All Stars vs
North All Stars
The
event will kick off at 6pm with the 'A' North vs South All-Stars taking to the
ice, followed by the 'AA' teams at 8pm. This format allows fans to see the best
of both worlds, as they enjoy the skills and abilities of the region's top
young hockey players in two separate and highly competitive games. (selected from 21 teams)
The
All-Star Showcase provides a unique opportunity for these young athletes to
showcase their talents and compete against their peers in a friendly but
high-energy setting. With so much talent on display, fans can expect an evening
filled with spectacular goals, spectacular saves and other fun
activities. Many players will
go on to pursue playing Junior and/or University hockey at the end of this
season.
So
mark your calendars for February
18th,
and come out to Markham Centennial
Arena
to support the Markham Waxers as they host the 2023
YSMHL U18 'AA & A' All-Star Showcase.
This is a great community event not to be missed by hockey fans of all ages, so
be sure to arrive early and get ready for an evening of high-level hockey
action!
