Markham Waxers continued their winning ways in Oshawa over the weekend,
capturing an unprecedented 4th consecutive tournament title of the season!

The team posted a perfect ZERO goals against on Sunday, while meticulously disposing of Whitby 3-0 in the semifinal, before knocking off 6th ranked (MHR) Halton Hills 2-0, in the final game. Despite being tested in a tie with #2 ranked Burlington, the Waxers actually gained momentum throughout the round robin. Top 3 scorers for the Waxers were Nathan Helfenstein (5-3-8), Amari Wharton (2-4-6) and Bryce McKee (2-3-5). The Blue and White machine staggeringly outscored their opponents 20-2 in the tournament. A remarkable start to the season, thru 34 games this season... the Waxers remain undefeated. Goaltenders Gabriel Carnevale and Brock Kalin share a stingy .853 GAA, and have posted a jaw-dropping 13 shutouts collectively.
