In Memory of and to Honour Ari Sinisalo

It is with great sadness and regret that our
team announces of the passing of Ari Sinisalo on January 2, 2019. Ari was the
father of our Minor Peewee Select player Luke. He was also the beloved husband
of our Assistant Trainer Cheng-Fong Wang and father to Kaitlyn. Ari was a wonderful person and huge fan of
our team.
While his warm smile and enthusiasm will be sorely missed by us all, Ari was and will always be part of our hockey family. In order to honour him, the team will be adding a sticker with Ari’s initials to our helmets for the remainder of the season.
We are also establishing the “Ari Sinisalo Award” which be given at the end of the season. The award will be for the player who, like Ari, best demonstrates courage and perseverance on and off the ice.
Once again, the team sends Cheng, Luke and Kaitlyn all our love and support at this difficult time.
