We Need Your VOTE! Please help!
Our Markham Waxers Minor Atom Select Team is looking for your help!  The team has entered an exciting contest being put on by Ford and Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment.  The prizes are fantastic - including possibly winning tickets for the entire Select team for a Leafs game!

Here's how you can help.

 

1) VOTE!!!! Simply click here: It's time to Vote

 

You can vote ONCE A DAY, EVERY DAY for the next month. Please do so! ;)

 

2) Donate to our used equipment drive and help us help other kids play for the Waxers!

 

We were inspired by the contest to get involved in a project to help the community! We have decided to do an equipment drive and donate the equipment to the Markham Waxers. The equipment will then be sold at the Waxers’ annual equipment swap at rock bottom prices. All the money raised will go to the Waxers’ "Yes, You Can Play!" program, which provides financial assistance to children who would like to play hockey but otherwise don't have the financial means to do so. And if that wasn’t enough, donating equipment cleans out your basement/garage and keeps used equipment out of our landfills and garbage. That’s good for the environment, which is good for all of us.

 

When and Where to Donate

Saturday, February 11th from 4:00 pm to 4:45 pm in the lobby at Mount Joy

Sunday, February 12th from 11:00 am to 11:30 am in the lobby at Centennial

Saturday, February 18th from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm in the lobby at Mount Joy

Sunday, February 19th from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm in the lobby at Mount Joy

 

Any time during Waxers office hours: Tuesday through Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

 

And if none of those dates/times work for you, simply email us directly at [email protected] and we can make arrangements for me to pick up the equipment. It doesn’t get any easier than that!
